I thought you guys would like to take a look at this! We are putting in a 427 C5R block in a C6. This is the same car that we did all the suspension, brake and cooling work on. Now the motor!!!
Well we got the car running! The numbers on the dyno are pretty low because of the lack of tunning. But the car goes good down the road. I got a call from Doug last night telling me that the car goes sideways on the highway if you roll on the gas. But when you punch the gas the car is slow. We can't wait intell the tunning software gets here. I'll keep you guys informed.
Thanks
Randy
I heard this line from a good friend, and it works great here.
"The impossible is only underfunded"
Check out the lastest Grass Root Motorsports mag. These guys put a chevy 350 into a Honda CRX with Corvette suspension. The funny part is they only spent 2000 bucks on it. But to do it real nice it would cost a ton of money. You would be better of spending the money on the current motor (TURBO, NOS or supercharger) Well that's my two cents
I've seen a guy stuff a supercharged LS1 into the back of a Porsche 944 with the stock porsche tranny (new clutch of course). He said it fit in there better than the factory engine and that 200mph is not a problem. He was making right around 500 to the wheels. It was really cool.
One tuner magazine stuffed a 5.0l mustang engine into a focus.

I'm sure you mean the engine was put in front since a 944 is a front engine car. I've heard it works well, and the handling remains very close to 50/50....of course that supercharger would mess the weight distribution up.
