here is the fix to the check engine light. take the hose that is running into the rammer and move it back to the power duct. you will have to cut a hole and plug the old one but this is the fix and it is how the car is stock. i think that they just sent us the c5 parts with a new box. i will be calling to get a part without a hole!!!!! i am not real happy but i have already cut the shroud. i may still send it back if they do not at least send me the right pieces!!!!!

There are other Ram air products on the market.

Like the Honker by Callaway. They say no check engine light and no fitment issues.

The dyno graphs and customer testimonials are on our website. Look up the C6 Vortex and you will find a link to them. If you look at the results you will find between 18 to 25 HP gain. To get a higher rating you have to take into consideration the ram air effect you get at speed giving you a higher MPH through the traps. To this date we have had the fastest auto C6 with just an airbox and exhaust run at the track. Our times were witnessed at 12.52 at just under 114 MPH, that is the ram air pulling on the top end.

Our system no longer produces the check engine light. The cause was the routing of our vent that was causing a +25 LTFT thus triggering the check engine light and not producing the power it should of due to the A/F ratio being off. We have now brought the LTFT down to 10+ which is more acceptable. Reprogramming the computer to compensate would be the ticket.

We reprogrammed our computer to compensate for this and now have a LTFT at -1 to 0

We will start offering computer programming in about 3 weeks for our customers.

This sounds like what happened to my Dadand I over Christmas. Circut City had a flyer in the sunday paper that read up to 10% off any tv 399.00 and up. Of course the letters to the words (up to ) were so tiny! Also when we asked what percent , guess what they said?? It was Zero ! I asked how they can do that and they flat out told us that the ad said up to 10% so o% is legal. And further more they stated its a tactic to get shoppers in the store. So from no on beware when some company say's the words "up to" Sure wish i lived in the days of the mom and pops stores instead of these cooperate lyers

any one know if the callaway rammer is going to require the shroud to be cut. if so i am getting my money back and getting that. it just burns my a$$ that i have to go out and figure out how to make this system work with out setting off the ses light. and then for them to repeatedly say they have dyno test showing power gains yet refusse to post them even when we are testing them and showing nothing. callaway posted his dyno numbers in vette mag even though it was just 5 hp. i guess it is time to put up or start refunding.

Sorry you feel that way but we did contact all the C6 Rammer owners to explain the mod. If you are saying I did not contact you then what is your invoice # so I can look up the info. It takes 5 Min to change the setup but if that is too much you are welcome to send it back. We could also supply you with the plastic plug for the powerduct duct or simply exchange that one. So should notice another gain once you do the mod and reset the computer. By the way sorry about taking so long to get the link on our website with the customer testimonials and dyno pages we have been having nightmares with our computer server having a virus. We will continue to upload all incoming info for the Vortex rammer.

By the way we also offer a non ram air system by just using our powerduct and powerflow filter for those who do not wish to cut the shroud. HP will not be as high as the rammer due to no ram air effect.
