Default home link help

I have tried several times to program my home link. I have no problem with the directions. The problem i am having is when i get my garage door working the gate to my home won't work. and when i get the gate working the garage stops. It is like they are canceling eachother out. I did my bmw and they have the same set up with no problems. Can anyone help?

Are you using separate visor buttons for each door? Mybe one has a rolling code, and gets set up differently. (the directions are in there for a rolling code)

Yes i am using the middle button (the one with the house) for the garage. And the left one for the entrance gate. But when i program one the other seems to get erased. Any answers?

Make sure that you are NOT doing many steps after programming the first item. Once you hold down the 2 outside bittons for awhile, and you get the flashing, program one item, then the other. Don't hold down the outsides again, to do the next item. That will erase the first.
If that's not the problem: can you change the code inside the garage or gate? Then work from there....
