c6 1/4 with Slicks

c6 1/4 with Slicks
if car and driver reported a 1/4 time of 12.6 for the c6 with z51 pkg (and 0-60 in 4.1) what do you goes think my car will do at the track with some slicks? will the clutch be able to handle a redline launch with slicks (prbably not huh)

Give Cartek www.cartek.net a call, they have a lot of experience with clutches, rears and simply modding C6s in general.

I"ve already heard of some half shafts breaking.
I don't know for sure what difference they would make, but my guess is that on a six speed car that is otherwise stock, probably no more than 1 or 2/10ths. They would make a bigger difference on an A4 car with a stall.
