Lowering Rear End
I am satisfied with how the front well wheel gap is but my C6 seems to have an unusually high gap around the back of the rear tire so I want to lower the rear end about 1 inch.
I have read a few posts about lowering the C6 but I have not seen good detailed instructions and with pictures would be good.
I located the bolt holding the spring to the A arm and I jacked the car up at the jacking point at the rear and removed the tire and I see that the bolt has no nut, it has a 10MM hex head on it. I tried to turn it and it would not budge so then I got another jack and raised up the A arm to take some pressure off of things but it still would not budge.
I dont think lowering a C6 is anything at all like the tech I have read on lowering the C5.
I would appreciate hearing from someone how has done it themselves.
