Default CAGS Eliminator for C6?

Google only returns units for older Vettes/Camaros.

Any ideas?

The GAGS eliminators are the same for C5's and C6's. Identical plugs.

Bought mine at West Coast Corvettes, had it installed yesterday! What a joy not being forced into 4th and hearing the engine lug!

12 cent resistor from Radio Shack does the same thing the overpriced aftermarket pieces do. Search here or any f-body site. Bought 4 for 50 cents 4 six speeds ago - 2 F-bodys, 2 Vettes.

Same here. I don't recall which resistors they were, but you can get four for less than a buck at Radio Shack. Then when I had my oil changed the first time, before I started doing it myself, I had them put in the resistor and bingo...it was all done and over with.

Underneath the car, driver side of the transmission. You can't miss it.

In the MN6 the car will push the shifter into fourth gear at low acceleration and attempted shift to 2nd, the computer assisited gear shift(CAGS) eliminator stops this.

It's got a big white label on it that says "Skip Shift" as if the engineers knew you'd be looking for it.

If your not too heavy you can put the drivers side on the curb with the passenger side off. Throw a blanket down on the ground. Shinny underneath with your cags and a couple of electrical ties and something to trim the ends off the ties. On the drivers side of the transmission you will see an electrical connection with a little white tag on it that says SKPSHFT or something along those lines. It will be the only marked connection. Thats your baby. You know what to do from there.
