has anyone ever tried to make titanium headers? think of the weight savings?

My stainless steel Kooks only weigh 10lbs ,same as the stock manifolds,and think of the money you save.

I believe Jim Hall did this on a try it and see basis for the C5. I don't think he marketed them, though. He posts on several of the other forums, but he doesn't seem to post around here anymore(too much crap from various memebers).

Titanium is a metal not well suited for headers ... this is of course is my opnion but you can use inconel which can give you the same benefits in weight savings but can much better handle the stresses of header usage. Inconel is as light but is no where near as brittle and is much easier to fabricate with.
