Couldn't find a thread on this topic. What are these LS2s with 6 speeds doing on the chassis dyno? I've heard they are running rich so when a programmer becomes available some more hp will be unleashed.
My C6 was at magnaflow for some R&D. They baselined it at 359RWHP/358RWTQ. Coolant temp was at 180 and air temp was at 60.
After there cat back install it made 372RWHP/370RWTQ,and it was 10 degrees warmer. Kook headers go on next week.

Did you do a relearn after the cat backs or just ran another dyno pull. Every time I tried that I was 10hp high before the relearn.
I assume the hp gain was no longer there after the relearn was complete?
If the LS2 responds like the LS1 drive it for 50 to 75 miles and your gain will disappear. The car "leaned" out from it's factory rich condition which provides a false positive.
Most any modification requires notifing the computer of a change. Modifications which change A/F will only maintain a benefit if the A/F is within the threshold of the tuning. Tuning is a must for modifications to see their true potential...we are far beyond the day of stupid digital efi in its infancy.
