Default Long term storage question

I have a new c-6 and because of my job at sea I have to sometimes leave it in storage for months. My concern is if it is ok to leave the battery disconnected during storage. Will it affect the electronics. Any info would be great. Thanks.

should not be any problem for the car at all, but if possible you should
leave the battery on a battery tender. (not a charger, but a tender)

For a term that long, I would pull the battery and connect it to a trickle charger (assuming it is supervised). No way would I leave the battery in the car while it was being charged for that length of time.
