This Axle-Back Akrapovic Exhaust for the C6 Corvette provides unmatched exhaust benefits. This stainless steel Slip-On systems replace the stock exhaust back of the center link pipes. The difference between the Akrapovič Slip-On mufflers is the weight. Stainless steel mufflers save 4 kg compared to stock mufflers. Akrapovič Slip-On systems increase the power and torque of the V8 engine. At the same time, the throttle response is also better, all achieved without removing the catalytic converters. The most dramatic improvement is in the sound. The Slip-On performance exhaust makes the Corvette sound deeper. This system includes 4" Carbon Fiber exhaust tips for the perfect finish.

Note-> In 2012 GM Changed the X pipe design on the Corvette. The Akrapovic EVO System (comes with X pipe) will not fit on the 2012 Corvette. The Slip-On (axle-back system without X pipe) will bolt up without issue. This is is the Axleback Slip-on System and IS compatible with the 2012+ Corvette Z06 and ZR1.

Curious was to why this wouldn't fit a 2012+ GS? Couldn't one just get an adapter for stock to whatever the inlet is - 3"?
