I just replaced my stock ZO6 hood with one from SuperVettes. I guess I'll put my old stocker up for sale in the parts for sale section. So I was looking at other hoods that were for sale and I see one just like mine for $1800.00, I think maybe that's a really really big stretch. Anybody here that has sold one? I'd appreciate some feed back on what I should ask for it.

Franky I've seen stock hoods going for $200-400. I don't think it's worth it to sell. If anything happens in the future, you'll have a hood ready to go that matches your oem paint! And it is oem paint

You're thinking the same thing I am. For the few hundred dollars I may get for it I'd be better off keeping it and then if I want I can sell the SV hood and reinstall the stock one. I do think it's kind of strange though that nobody want's to pay for mod's.

Good luck. You will either find someone that was in a wreck that wants it local, or it will sit for a long long time.

I tried to sell mine for a bit, couldn't even give it away at $200. Better off to keep it, and when you sell the car, swap it back on.

Took me almost 5 years to sell my LeMans blue hood and it ended up just by chance a guy locally wrecked his and picked up mine.

To expensive to ship a used part....shipping is as much, if not more than what you would sell it for.

I live in Europe and yes indeed, I have experienced that shipping charges are outrageous these days ..

Someone may want it to install Trackspec louvers. Mine work fantastic.
