Looking to trade my C2 coupe for a C7.
Greetings,
I have been 'hanging' in the C2 forum for many years driving C2's. I thought I would step up to the C7 forum as I am looking to trade my 1966 Mosport Green coupe. The car has the following options, A01, A31, G81, M35, N40, P48(Western), U69, N36(original), And K19. Until this Spring the car spent its entire life in the San Jose desert, Ca.. The frame is a 9.5 out of 10. All bonding strips in place. I have the original date coded K19 AIR system that goes with the car. Nice Mosport paint no cracks period. Interior is green and is original except for the carpet. Has 'patina'. Everything works including the clock.
This car was described by the local GM dealership owner as a 'Gentlemans'
car. No offense to women. This model, with these options was not likely to have been raced or 'beat'. Original bumpers rechromed. All trim removed and polished, new window gaskets front and rear. All original glass except for the windshield.
I am looking to trade for a C7 (Wife does not like the ride of a C2). She has seen the C7's and likes the 'creature comforts'. Not interested in a Z06. Want an auto. No red, black cars. My preference is Green, Silver, and Blue in that order. Interested in a gentlemens' car that my wife will enjoy also. I value my car at 49K. Willing to add some $ for the right car. I also have a large collection of parts that will go with the car. This is a good example of a K19 California car. Not many were built, and even fewer have the original system still with the car.
Not great at posting photos. Please PM me if you are interested I have lots of photos of the car. The car is 51 years old. It does not handle, ride, or stop as well as the new models, but it is a good driving car, and I think if taken care of, the value will remain for many years. Oh yea, all original drivetrain.
Thank you for your consideration. Jim 802-349-5064. Have a great day.

Yes, the frame is that nice. Always a desert car.
I have lots more photos. This is a real K19 AIR California born car. I have the original smog setup. Please PM if interested. Thanks, Jim

Just thought i would bring this back up in case anyone is interested. I am reinstalling the original K19 AIR California emissions unit. Here are a few pix.
This is a super nice car from San Jose Ca. Get in and drive home. It is not a 'super rare L71' but is one of very few K19 cars with the original system still intact. Prior owners had forethought and the car was well cared for. All things being equal, my car should retain it's value through the Winter months into spring. I am looking for a C7. see my original post.
Thanks and Happy Halloween.
