I installed an Eforce unit on a cust. 2014 grandsport this wk. & thought I would share some details w/ you C7 owners.
The kit is one of the nicest aftermarket pieces I've installed. I guess it helps that the C7 is really easy to work on compared to my C5.The hardest part of the install was the balancer but as long as you have the proper tools"had to buy a extended reach bal. installer" its a walk in the park. The sway bar & rack & pinion both have to come off but once again their really easy on this car,Edelbrock built this kit to ressemble something the factory might put out as a dealer inst. accs. I've done alot of this kind of work not neccesarily on vettes but enough to recognise a well designed & thought out kit when I inst. it.We had some pcm programming issues"could not get the pcm to unlock"for the new tune but we got it resolved w/ Edelbrock & SCT tech support. It seems every time your doing a new model plateform tuning issues come up.Performance wise yes it hauls *** thats all I can say about it,we dont have a dyno so I cant supply hard HP figures but its some where in the 600 range comparing it to my buddys 650 hp dynoed c5 & has severe tire shack from a dig.Hope this is informative for those of you on the fence!I have a joy ride vid just gotta figure out how to upload it. just my 2 Mac
Not trying to be funny but since Iam not an expert on the subject I need your feedback. So I went over to the Edelbrock Homepage and looked at the eforce video they offer. Its 4 minutes and seventeen seconds. But I couldn't help but say to myself as I was watching how is that Big Monster of a Device going to fit under the hood???? It says in the caption that it fits under the "standard hood". But it looks like it is atleast 6 inches in height. Iam sure it fits but you must need a shoehorn to squeeze it in there.

You remove the intake manifold and valley plate. The E-Force goes in their place. That's how it fits under the stock hood.
The valley cover does not get removed, just the intake.
You'll have to excuse the grand sport comment the owner stated that it was a grand sport but it does not have the fender stripes,I'm not current on the C7's model wise but I do know its not a Zo6.Will try to upload pics at lunch"need to resize em"
it has to intercoolers, aprox. under the red decorative covers, but you can only see them when its flipped over. The radiator is in front of the condenser & the water pump is mounted on the radiator cradle drivers side
When a person working on a customer vehicle doesn't know that a 2014 Grand Sport doesn't exist I guess I am a little skeptical about their abilities! Just Saying!
