Default C7 fuel pump

hey guys i will build my car in mid of march and i read that the biggest issues was the pistons and the fuel pump if you are going higher than 700whp.

i will go with a wiseco 10.5 compression, but i don't know what to do about the fuel pump.

what fuel pump you guys recommend for my build that will hopefully be around 750 to 850 whp?

is there any other issues other than the pistons and the fuel pump for this level of WHP?
my build going to be as listed:
1- ARH LTH 1 7/8 + NON cated xpipe
2-A&A YSI trim
3-FSP breather
4-alky control duel nozzles
5-custom cam package from cunningham motorsports with bigger fuel lope
6-wisco pistons with 10.5 compression
7-compstar rods
8-hpfp (didn't get it yet)

yesterday car was retuned and was making 725 whp with 15psi at 5700 rpm then car ran out of fuel, temp was 102F

does anyone know from where i can get the zo6 hpfp

Since you are doing meth and a cam with a bigger fuel lobe you don't need to do anything else. If you want to play it safe, put a Z06 fuel pump in there as well.

Are you planning to daily it? I dont see a reason you couldn't other than how aggressive of a cam you do. The meth will help IAT's. 124 is cooking for sure though lol. You may want to do a 160* tstat and a dewitts radiator to help with cooling..

Put in a z06 high pressure pump and add a secondary -boost activated pump at the tank.
Under fueling is the biggest issue I see daily.

I'm at ~860rwhp with LT4 injector/HPFP, cam w/32% lobe, LS7 lash cap and pistons.

what is the SC u are running ? and how many psi? I'm going with the YSI instead of the t trim

from what i read, i don't think i will need the injectors, the hpfp is good enough, I'm also getting a cam package with BIG LOBE, what pistons you are running ? stock rods or aftermarket ?

It's the ECS 1500 @ 13psi. Pistons are the drop in forged ones from Vengeance and the heads have been upgraded to match the cam. Stock rods and crank.

As far as injectors, if you can swing the little extra do it while it's all apart.

how much rwhp would the stock rods and crank be good at?

I couldn't answer that. If I didn't take my car on road trips, I would be awfully tempted to add a 200 shot of NO2.

Ant
Ant is correct. We are roughly at 850 rwhp. We have a similar setup like the one you are wanting to do..

1- ARH LTH 1 7/8 + CATTED xpipe (and Borla ATAK axle back exhaust)
2- ECS 1500 @ 12-14 pounds (soon to be upgraded to the 2200HD at 18 pounds)
3- Factory breather w/ ECS supplied air filter
4- Dual Nozzle Alky Control @ the #8 setting on the controller
5- Texas Speed & Performance VVT-1 cam with bigger 33% fuel lobe
6- Texas Speed & Performance heads package
7- Wiseco Forged LT1 Pistons with lowered 10.5:1 compression
8- Circle D Pro III 3000-3200 stall converter

Our car is on the verge of being "too much" for the streets. 1st - 3rd gears, forget about it. We've punched it at approximately 70 mph's and have gone sideways. At this power level, it takes patience and skill. Since our engine is forged now, we will probably end up somewhere around the 925 rwhp level + or - with the new blower and pulley combo. We are also about to swap out our Borla for a Corsa Extreme as well. Next round of go fast goodies for us will probably focus on axles / half shaft / beefing the trans. But that's for another conversation.. LOL

Of course Dual nozzle setup, though it doesn't seem to use as much as others. I'm still on the same 5 gallon drum from last August and probably have 2 gallons left in it plus whatever is in the car.

just checking as you didn't list it above.... would just be surprised to see that power level on LT4 injectors only....mine were done by 3500-4000 RPM.

For the low side we make a very high quality fuel system for that. Have 22 systems sold to date and all working flawlessly!
