Supercharger comparisons
I'm curios about the differences and pros and cons with what setups you're running or of buddies that have SC C7s
I've poked around Calloway and Lingenfelter. I like the warranty setup for Calloway regarding the factory warranty.
As far as how much HP I'd want....no more than what Calloway gives really. 550-650.
No plans on just buying a Z06...I'd have to start with a Z51 or the GS as far as budget is concerned. Then SC sometime later.

Just looking for your stories and experiences.
There are 2 types of S/C's. A positive displacement S/C and a centrifugal S/C.
Edelbrock is a PD blower. So is the Callaway. The PD will make power immediately. Advantages of a PD is the immediate power from low RPM's. One disadvantage is PD blowers sit atop the engine so they are prone to heat soak.
Some examples of centrifugal S/C's are ECS, A&A and Procharger. A centrifugal S/C will start building boost at around 2500 rpm. An advantage of a centrifugal S/C is you can get good traction off the line and boost builds at a higher RPM. Disadvantage is it does not build any power off the line.
For my needs I chose a centrifugal S/C. I chose the loud BOV, Methanol and headers. The car is like nothing I have ever driven. If you drive around normally the only thing you notice is the BOV. At higher RPM's it pulls like a freight train. It's pure insanity.
If you daily drive your S/C vette I'd consider your choice of BOV carefully. My car is not a daily so the loud BOV is great but it does draw attention and would probably get old if I was using it everyday.
People ask why I didn't just get a Z06. There is a simple reason, money. 2LT Z51 was ~63k. All the work I did, including labor, was 14k. 77k was a lot better than 85+k
But...all depends on the cost for the GS.
