Default FI guys using launch control?

Getting my A&A installed soon at CPR and am really excited. For you guys with blowers and an auto, are you using launch control for street or track? I've read some conflicting reports, including a few that believe using it with blower TQ will actually break something? Thanks.

At the track with sticky tires, I always just stomped it from idle with everything off. No launch or traction control. If you're making enough power, eventually you will break a halfshaft/axle.

Does not work well even factory, and added power just overpowers it. Best to learn how to launch the car. A few practice runs and you can easily outdrive the launch control.

I've never had a launch control work well stock or modded with my M7. Won't work on the street or strip and always spins the tires a bunch. 5.0+ 0-60's.

Can anyone confirm that on an A8 car with a centri blower will it launch the same as a stock car since the boost comes on in later rpm's?

Someone was saying it's a good set up because it allows the car to get off the line like a stock A8 without blowing the tires off and then the boost will hit once you have a better chance of having some traction.

I have a 15 z51 A8 with ecs 1500/meth/longtubes. Only at 8lbs , car makes 610rwhp

My centri cars makes 200+ more HP than stock at 2500rpm. While the gains aren't big, you still gain a good amount down low.

Every time we are serious about getting on the throttle, we HAVE to turn off traction control. If not, the car gets too "herky jerky" and it's so violent that feels like we are on the brink of snapping something. But then again, we are a relatively high HP C7.. 1182 rwhp, 21.3 pounds of boost on an ECS 2200HD blower.

Otherwise, just cruising around town day to day, we leave the traction control on.

I'm interested in knowing how my A8 launch control will work on FI also.
It works great with stock power levels.

Have you tried LC with your ECS setup? That's pretty close to the setup I'm wanting to run.
