The innovator's lower pulley is 7.75" and the supercharger does a 3.6:1 step up. V3 Si and Ti can be spun at 52,000 rpm.

Using the formula:

MaxEngineRPM * (LowerPully / UpperPulley) * BlowerRatio = MaxBlowerRpm

or

6600 * (7.75" / UpperPulley) * (3.6) = 52,000

We can see to spin the V3 at it's max RPM at the engine's max RPM, we'd use a 3.54" upper pulley.

I think the lower pulley that comes with the A&A Kit is a 7.65" so the 3.47 is needed to max it out.

3.47 was what my shop had told me. I still might do the 3.47 with lpfp to go all e85 no blend vs going ysi. I'm still on the fence. I'm waiting on the quote for install of the ysi with the 10 rib setup.
When I first inquired about the ysi I didnt realize it was a decent amount of labor. I thought it would be just swapping head units. Not the case.lol

3.47" is what I have on my Si trim which put my blower at max output. If you do choose to move forward with the ysi, about how much would you he wanting to sell the T trim headunit for?

Ive upgraded the hpfp and injectors as well. Im debating on either changing the pulley on my blower and doing lpfp so i can hopefully run straight e85 or saying screw e85 and running a ysi and c16.

As of now i hate screwing around trying to get my blend right with e85. Its kind of a nausance and never end up with the e50. Its always up or under. E50 which if its over i have to add more 93 since ill run out of fuel. Half the time i end up going to the track with almost a full tank cuz of playing with the blend.

So which direction would be best to go with? Both cost about the same. So cost isn't a deciding factor. With the ysi i will have more room to grow but my goals now are to be around 9.3-9.4 in the qtr. And would like some more torque as well.

Also going with the ysi would i need the lpfp? Or will i be fine as long as im not trying to run e85?

Thanks for any input
I have a V1 TI running a 8.25 lower and 3.15 upper with no issues. The V1 can be spun a little harder though. It has a heavy duty gear case similar to a Ysi. I was told you can usually over spin by 10% and still be fairly safe because of a slight amount of belt slip.

not sure on how much i'd sell it for yet. I need to do some research to come up with a fair price.

What is involved other than swapping the lower Innovator's pulley for a 10-rib one and swapping the head unit? Is the V7 YSi not self-contained and require some oil plumbing?

Is a dry sump system any different in regards to oil plumbing a supercharger/tubro?

I went from 8.9 on a TI to 8.57 with a billet YSI. Intake air Temps are high but going to take care of that over the winter.

Yes i made the switch to the Ysi. I gained a 100whp/tq through the midrange and 65whp/110tq peak. On e35. I really need a lpfp upgrade. Car pulls soo much harder. Can't wait to get to the track and see what she'll do. Hopefully in the next couple weeks ill get a chance.

Bad ace. Did you do the install or did you have it done? I'm wondering about the oil lines.

How much more boost are you making with the ysi vs your Ti? I run a Msd boost a pump on my lpfp. It helped some but not a huge gain.
