I understand the shortcomings of ethanol being that it's hard to find sometimes and that it has poor mileage and that you need to do major supporting mods to get the car to fuel properly. My question is has anybody noticed anything that gets rusted or corroded or any other problems with using ethanol like hard to start or problems in traffic or problems in cold weather or problems in hot weather or anything like that as far as daily use goes?
In cold weather it's definitely a harder start and it will crank more before turning over. That's the beauty of the FlexFuel sytem though. If you'll be driving it in winter just switch to 93 and it's not an issue. I don't drive mine in the winter much and put 93 in it for storage or the occasional drive.
C6 here but I have noticed longer cranking during cold starts (like freezing or under) when running E80+. E50'ish I've never noticed it. If I spent some time on tune I could probably get rid of it but sitting in a car when it's below freezing and playing with the tune doesn't sound like my kind of fun.
The LT4 loves E85!!! This is a 2016 Z06 that came to us with modifications done from another shop. Customer wasn't happy with the track performance so he brought it to us to see what we could do for him. The blue line is the way it came in. Green line is 93 octane and meth. Red line is E85 and meth. To say the least, the customer is now in love with his dream machine. E85 is well worth it on FI engines.
I too recently did the flex fuel conversion on my car. Did a new shortblock, heads, flexfuel, LT4 HPFP and injectors, and added another meth nozzle. Oh and of course a clutch.
I was able to run about e47 on the dyno, but you can see the car came alive with the corn. Run file 8 was with a bell on the blower:

what type of blower you running. Those are some real strong numbers. Did you replace the lpfp?

I am running the novi1500 with the 3.75 pulley. The 900 wheel number was without an intake on the blower though. The reason it made over 14psi. Haven't touched the low pressure side. Everything was stable with it at e47. I can never run more than that without upgrading the low side.

Very Stout #'s.. How much timing on E47 and what size meth nozzles?

2 -15 gph and the controller at 7. Not sure about timing, I'd have to ask Steven. Steven did tell me there was more power in it if he got ballzy with timing but we let it be. That tells me it's not nuts.
Guys the base ECS kit comes with a 4.1 inch upper and restrictor plate and 8.2 inch lower. Here is a picture of both. Unfortunately I didn't take a comparable picture of the new pulley but I can assure you I ordered the 3.75 directly from Chris at ECS. Here is the thread where we had the discussion about it.
I had a truck with the GenV 5.3L and FlexFuel option. Drove it over a year (~17k miles) almost exclusively on E85 with absolutely no problems. Any weather/temp from teens to over 100*. Even left it sitting in the airport parking lot for 10 days. Started right up.
