Default Nitrous C7 Z06

Im wondering if anyone is doing this on the stock blower with what results. I can't seem to find much info on this setup. Most people are swapping the blower first. Looking for some cheap HP. Also who is making a kit for our cars? I see kits for the C7 but not specific for the Z06!

Thanks for the help

Theres a few companies doing it right now. Either with the new lid with nozzles built in or spray bars. Ive already done pulley heads headers Akra exhaust etc etc and looking at adding an extra shot of 150. Theres a vendor that has a stand alone fuel cell that fits in cubbey hole that I'll more than likely use for C-16. I believe Nitrous outlet has the bars. Systems do exist though to answer your question.

We would recommend going with the LT4 spray bar set up. We know this blower very well in and out and have had many customers have great success and make serious power with it. We also have a Z06 specific plate system that is about to release here shortly. We have found out the stock HPFP is the limiting factor on these cars. We do sell a specific dedicated fuel supply system that mounts in the back of the car and makes for a nice simple easy install and will provide the fueling needs that the nitrous system needs to maintain proper air fuel ratios. We also offer switch panel options as well for your car. We have bottle mounting plates, bottle borackets with built in heaters, purge kit, and our window switch that features TPS RPM activation and gear lock out. What will you use for ignition timing to control it and remove ignition. Lingenfelter makes an awesome controller that performs very well. Feel free to contact me houston@nitrousoutlet.com and I can set you up with a solid quote to get you started and to show you the price break down. 254-848-4300 EXT 109 is my direct line. If you have a question feel free to give us a call

We have several different options for the C7Z
Here is our custom lid for the LT4 with nitrous spray bars and a direct port meth kit.

Let me know if I can help.

That's the great thing about nitrous, you choose the power you want. Want 150 more horsepower? Do 150 shot. Bottom end can only handle another 80? Do an 80 shot.

The motor will handle a lot more.

My statement wasn't referring to any motor, it was more like "your mods mean you can only have 80 more horsepower? do an 80 shot." My point was that you can choose your power level when it comes to nitrous. Surprised you didn't know!

Don't mean to sound crazy, but on previous supercharged cars ( Cts-v, Gt-500, ZL1 Camaro, etc) adding a 50 shot was like adding 100 hp, 100 shot like 200hp on the supercharged car.....why is there normal nitrous gains on the C7z like its naturally aspirated ? Seems like this blower is not benefiting from nitrous as other blowers do. Can you provide some insight ? 150 shot to a 2010 Cts-v a damn near be 300 horses.

The reason u see higher than jetted HP from supercharged engines is the higher IAT's associated with them. Nitrous has an IAT cooling effect that negates most if not all of this and the result is more power.

If a "50" shot adds 100 horsepower, then it's not a 50 shot -- it's 100 shot.

You can't say "i put that same 50 shot on another car and it made more power" that's... nonsensical. More appropriately would be, "I put that same nozzle size and ended up with 100 shot instead of the 50 shot I was expecting"

At least, that's the way I understand it.

so it depends on bottle pressure and manufacture jetting chart. I'm learning a lot. The 100 shot was only giving me around 70-80hp but the 150 shot gave me about 170

It depends on your nitrous setup. A 100 shot in a single nozzle setup through the intake will pickup 80-100hp. A 100hp jetting on a direct port/spray bar setup typically gains 125+hp on a roots/pd blower car. As someone mentioned above the cooling effect boosts the hp gain from a direct port setup. A single nozzle kit typically does not see these gains.

I've sprayed the stock engine until doing the "usual" mods....cam, headers, no cats,CAI and both pulley's. I'm reinstalling it this week. It's just much easier than letting it sit for an hour to cool between rounds. While I was spraying it stock it wouldn't shift from 1st to 2nd sometimes. Haven't had that problem with the new mods. I think a tune would have taken care of it, but I knew I was going with the other mods soon. So far performance has been about the same. I'm only going to use a smaller shot for heat soak. It was around a 180 shot before. When I ran it I used straight 100 unleaded race gas for head gasket ins.

So I got my car tuned for the 150 shot and took it to the track over the weekend and its not holding through the quarter mile at about half track the check engine light was coming on and going into limp mode... anyone have any suggestions? Codes P0106, and P1101

It was going hard and fast before it fell on its face. It was tuned with HP tuners
