Default Bought some headers ARH 2' headers

got a good deal on the headers wondering wit the set up I'm goin wit for my stingray .. LT4 Blower Lower pulley Intake
and the American racing headers 2'

is the headers to big for the set up or should I get 1/78's

i should be around 650Rwhp'+

I don't wanan Lose any Hp down Low or is the power level fine for the 2'

Buddy I think you will drop in power with no more ci & head size at that power level. Now if you say 427 ci & a 245 to 265 heads with a F1X blower & going to look for 1100 to 1300 rwhp then yes I would.

Let me say this on one of my old c5 set up's ls2 402 ci with a YSI on it I went from a LG 1 7/8 header set up to a KOOK 2 inch header and lost hp all thur the rpm range until I got to about 6600 rpm then got it back but only 6 hp on the same dyno but it was diff days.

I also on this set was running a trick flow 225 head that BT did some work on also. Also same cam in the car and all of that.

yah I figure the same I just gotta find out someone who dynoed the 2' vs the 1/78 wit the same setups mods

few guys told me you lose very Minimal Hp but gain back up top the Hp u lose u won't feel it

So did anyone install a 2' headers on this kinda set up on z06 and lose Hp or was about the same vs 1/78

You will get more in the higher RPM range so if I had them & with a blower on the car. I would for sure put them on the car & not look back with them on the car. Robert

you will lose zero down low from a 2'' over a 1 7/8. We have proven it many times over, you did a good thing getting a 2''.
