Boost and Temperature Gauges

My apologies if I am beating a dead horse in advance; however, I have never had a supercharger before. Just bought a corvette with and E-Force on her and no gauges. Is it necessary to add them?

Addendum (Don't see a delete thread option) Unfortunately I asked this in the C7 forum. My car is a 2013 C6 GS - my apologies.

I added a Z06 blower to my Stingray LT1....and I bought this Dashlogic device...It works fantastic and integrates right into the DIC! Shows Boost, IAT's, and hundreds of other parameters..They also make a C6 version

Keep in mind the car needs to have a 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor in order for the ECM (and dash logic) to see boost. Any FI car should already have one, but that doesn't necessarily mean it does unfortunately. It's a simple tune change to replace it though.
