Default Driving long distance with SC

I'm purchasing a new c7 2014 A6 3lt that's all stock with the exception of an Edelbrock e-force supercharger stage 1 on a canned tune . This is my first blower car and concerned about the distance I have to drive it home (545miles) roughly 9hour trip. Will the car be fine for that distance ?

I've never liked "canned" tunes. You'll be fine driving it, but if it was me I wouldn't be abusing it until it was dyno tuned by a reputable shop.

The canned tunes are plenty safe and reliable, they just give up some power to afford the flexibility across numerous vehicles and fuel types. Have fun and drive the car to Alaska if you want!

I'm not either. The car has 19,500 on it the edelbrock was put on around 10K a 70year old guy owned it till he traded it in for a 2017 and did the same thing off the lot this time.

Thats what I thought on the edelbrock manufactures canned tunes . I really don't want anymore boost or power I just want it to run smoothly and not overheat . I'm not a hp junkie at all I just like the added power and saying it has a supercharger on it. Low boost is the most I'll ever want !

Flexibility is what I want. Added stress with the more power is not a need one bit. This is my first car with Aftermarket parts and the fastest car I've ever owned even stock it would the fastest. Upgrading from a 94 c4 LT1 all stock and I thought that had get up and go!

I did 10.5 hours with a procharged car. Can you tell the difference? nope. It's 2017, there's no such thing as unreliable until you get near 1000 hp now as long you have a tune from a reliable source.

Installed was done by "Grabiak chevrolet in new Alexandria pa" they used the canned tune. I'm from South Carolina so I don't know anything about the work that dealership does. If someone one from PA knows about them I would love from them to chime in and tell me there thoughts .

I am running the stage 2 with the canned tune. A local shop checked the tune on their dyno and it was actually quite good.

It's running the stage one which I prefer no need for anymore power .

That's odd, I've never heard of a dealership installing a supercharger.

If you look them they have a performance section on the website . Different never would thought a Chevy dealership would wanna start voiding warranties .

Mine is around 750rwhp and I've driven it to and from Vengeance several times with no issues. Mine is a centrifugal setup. Of course during that 8-9hrs on the road there are plenty of bursts downshifting and planting the right foot as well.
