No, you'll need at least new injectors and a BAP.

Oops, mild case of retardation. I was thinking of a C6.

C7 should be fine at that boost level, but I would recommend meth to ensure you get enough octane.

Cool, no time for meth this go around but perhaps sometime in the future. Car is bone stock other than an O/R X and axleback so it will probably still be shy of 600.

I WILL however be taking it to a tuner to put a conservative tune on, I'm not trusting a mail order one with the extra boost.

Meth is a must at 10lbs
Or turn it down to 7 with a 4.25 pulley

The LT1 fuel system works against you if you're trying to run without meth. The reason meth is needed is you cannot get enough fuel into the combustion chamber in the injector timing window at that power level so you use meth as a poor mans port injection system basically. It provides the added fuel needed as well as the added octane. The LT1 fuel system delivers less fuel then the LT4 system. So meth is needed even more so on the LT1 fuel system equipped cars..

Well ****, I have a dyno scheduled tomorrow morning w/o meth.

If I heavily retarded the timing should that make it work? I'm fine with taking it down to 560-570hp if it's doable. Just don't want to throw away $500 for nothing...

I'm running an ECS 1500 with long tubes and meth. Meth is for fueling so I do not run lean. Also watch the timing on these LT1 motors, they are not like the LS motors. I'd say start low and watch your AFR as you raise power, no way you will reach over 10 lbs safely.

As said above, start low and go from there. If they are a reputable tuner, then retunes later on should be discounted a good deal..

Alright, I'll take it in tomorrow and see if we can work it out. Really not too concerned with the power loss, any set-up we can get to safely run the 10 psi pulley w/o meth is fine in my book...

Do you have a bigger pulley? There is no way to run 10 psi -safely- without meth.

Not at the moment. What would be the correct belt for a 7psi pulley?

I'm not sure. Best bet is to call Procharger unless someone else can chime in..
