James I currently have one of your sheet metal intakes that is coming together in a single turbo/cam/port fuel/etc. C7 Z application (tuning/rollers ETA: latter part of week). Have you done any testing of this design vs your sheet metal intake and some of the others that are out there (e.g MSD, LME, etc.)?
James you never cease to amaze me brother! Damn. I personally like how this intake is welded up front to the TB plate vs LME is bolt on, especially for high boost applications.
I have used proven plenum sizing, runner taper and runner length for this setup.
runners are 5.5" with 20% taper from csa at runner entrance to csa at intake port. Features a full radius air horn as well
Plenum volume is right at right around 500 cubic inch
These numbers have worked phenomenally for me, a stock longblock low boost blower cars have seen in excess of 35whp gains with these over a stock manifold and near 20whp gains over a msd. Midrange power does not suffer a all it is pretty much gains from about 4000rpm on to 7500rpm
Cam, valve train, and engine size will play a big part on exactly how and where it performs.
