I want to keep the power below 800hp for the moment. Was told that the YSi will not really be in it's efficient zone with the setup, but will still put out power. Then, after i get supporting parts( shafts, clutch, torque tube etc) I will start changing pullies.
My guess is around 700. The YSI likes to be spun harder.
It will in the end. The engine can turn 8500rpm and not just short bursts. It's got bliiet crank, rods, meticulously balanced and cryoed. Well technically i cant turn it that fast yet because there aren't any good aftermarket rockers yet( if anybody knows otherwise please let me know).
If the engine is built why not just turn the boost up! Clutch and torque tube and shafts should hold the power if you not looking to drag the car or do low roll races
In the end it's going to be a rosd course car, but Its also going to be strip driven, street diven and sometimes daily driven. So an occasional roll race/no prep is inevitable. Not too sure about the clutch and the torque tube from what i hear seems to be yhe weakest link. So for now im not taking any chances.
