I've got to do a little more research on this. I've got a wet sump car and a dry sump 2017 800 mile LT4 supercharger. I might be interested in swapping, but I need to understand what needs to be done. I've got all the LT4 idlers and pulleys and stock and innovators west lower balancer. However I'm guessing the stock LT4 lower balancers wont work for me. If I read the above correctly, ATI makes a balancer for a wet sump car that has the belt spacing of a dry sump car. That might be the easiest for me.
If a wet sump blower is used, are the pulleys and brackets different since the belt is farther out from the engine? What balancer gets used?

I believe they make the correct brackets to line up the pulleys and harmonic balancer. The guys at weaponX deal with all the variations. Initial;;y they messed me up and sent what I think is the bracket for the wet sup engine (could be for a camaro) it does bolt right up on the LT1 engine, this particular bracket is for the tensioner idler. I do know you can get the correct balancer/pulley wheel. Best to talk with them though, they make specific kits for each variance. Best of luck! It is a kick in the *** to drive once installed.

I don't believe there is much from the dry sump set up that could be use in the wet sump. Maybe the intercooler,
reservoir tank and some tubes but I'm not sure of that.

Not sure what your trying to say. Going to a blower you need to purchase the whole set up any way you look at it (unless he already has the balancer and pulleys from the wet sump as a kit. Attached are some photos of the 2 engines and it looks like the front end uses different housing for water pump and the camaro has an additional belt (does the Corvette wet sump have this?) any that explains the length differences. At any rate all of these will take a LT4 Supercharger. The hardest to modify is my current dilemma with a wet sup supercharger for a dry sump.

You need to be comparing pictures of wet and dry sump Corvette LT1's to see the difference. They may have made other packaging concessions with the Camaro.
People have put z06 lt1 blowers on wet sump cars on this forum. Look at one of the posts above. It does not appear they used all kinds of different brackets and pullies. Blower belt position is farther out on the wet sump blower. The post above makes it sound as simple as getting a balancer that corrects for this.
Hopefully someone that has done this will chime in and state whether it was just using a different balancer that adapted between the two.

You use the same Z06 (dry sump) supercharger when doing the conversion on either wet sump or dry sump LT1 Vette. The innercooler, brackets, hoses, etc are the same for both. Air baffle is different depending on auto or manual. The only other difference is the dry sump conversion uses Z06 balancer and the wet sump conversion needs an ATI balancer, spacer and supercharger pulley ring. This is the place to get all the correct parts, instructions, etc.

I have just learn a lot it all sound easy in the post but when it comes to the possible combos and modification Vs getting the correct blower the problem I see is the cost. I didn't even look into the Wet sump Or Dry sump when I did my 2017 GS I was lucky that when I deal with Paul he did the right thing....

Well, sold my wet sump Supercharger yesterday. Packaging it for shipment to Utah! Funny how things work, I found a much better Supercharger that was fully ported and polished (can now put a 103mm throttle body on) and has a custome paint cover with low miles, plus looks like WeaponX is going to help me out with a few goodies for the car. All is well that ends well.

Getting closer! Having an issue remembering which sensors (I cannot remember if I had a connection to the front supercharger electrical connection on the drivers front side-see no cable for it- I must be getting senile), are not used and the small vacuum lines in the front. That is what happens after 2 months of sitting around. Anyway tomorrow will be finished, so far..... threw a mighty mouse catch can in and need to replace one of my hoses to the pump/supercharger, install belt (hope its the right size). Getting WeaponX valve covers made in Arctic White! Hope I am on the easy side now for getting this finished.
