Default Warranty

Just picked up a 2016 with 5100 miles and have lots of warranty left. Does adding a supercharger void it? Is there a certain level I could go to and keep it? I've heard if I get the dealer to install it does not void it. Does anybody know?

Hi well if you just bought it the factory bumper to bumper warranty has or is about to run out unless you have some sort of extended warranty like if you bought it from a Chevy
dealership,it would be a certified car and you would get a extra year, and to answer your question I think it will void it and I do not think the dealer will install a item like that and warranty it

there are some tuners such as Lingenfelter and Callaway that offer their own warranty but as far as the GM warranty it is voided as soon as you flash a tune to the computer. anything beyond small intake and exhaust mods will require a tune
