I ran the 2200X which is basically the YSI-B. Made like 25 psi with the 2.75 upper. I ran a 10 rib and didn't have issues with belt slip.
I agree, I had on old c5 402 ls2 motor with only a 8 rib with a flip drive & a 2.75 upper with a YSI it made 23 psi & almost 1123 rwhp with no belt slip at all thur a RPM level X auto trans. Robert

1100 full tilt on e85. 980s on pump and 2.95 pulley.
Hey C7&7.. LTNS. I'm still playing around with my setup and I've lost a bit of sleep over the whole ordeal. The engine is rated solidly up to 1400hp but I've been fighting issues here and there, mainly heat related. Had an entirely new intercooler setup fabbed up for our C7 and it dropped our AIT's over 100 degrees! So, now that our temps are back under control, I've moved onto the next issue... boost. There is a lot of volume now on our setup but our 2200HD is maxed with the smallest pulley at only 14 psi @ 920 rwhp. I was holding out for the V15 but it seems like it will never be released. Thinking about side stepping over to a 2200X. Spoke with Chris at ECS and he seems to think that swapping out the 2200HD for a 2200X will push me from 920 rwhp to the ballpark of 1150 - 1200 rwhp. Since you have experience with the 2200X, I would really like to hear what your thoughts are?

Hey Mike. It has been a while! Glad to see your car is atleast on the road!
Chris wouldnt sell me any other blower than the 2200x because my goals were to make 1000-1100 and run 180 in the half. It did all of that for me. It was a FANTASTIC blower and if I was gonna do it again I would. Make sure you do the 10rib setup so you can sleep at night knowing you’re not having belt slip.
I am gonna ask what your goals are tho? Are you just wanting a certain dyno number or are you just trying to squeeze all the power out of it for the street or whatever?
what I loved about the 2200x compared to the f1x is it had MUCH of a lower end grunt that you felt IMMEDIATELY when you stabbed it. The f1x takes a bit to get moving.
You’re in good hands with Chris and ECS. Just be sure to do the 10rib and the 2.95 pulley.

Thanks for your input Tim. I've spoken to only a few F1X owners and they both praised their blowers. One guy swears by his but the other guy said his F1X has had issues a couple of times (but he still loves the heck out of it). All I can do is get solid feedback on the pro's and con's at this point. I think we have similar builds so it's easy to relate to your experience(s). From that experience, it does sound like for MY particular setup, the 2200X is the way to go and speaking with Chris at ECS, he made a valid point that it's tried and true. They know that blower backwards and forwards. The only thing that I have reservations about is the upcoming V15. It will obviously be the stronger choice but after waiting ALL this time for its release, should I wait even further to see if or when the V15 ever comes into fruition or give in to my impatience? LOL! With race season winding down now, I was hoping to focus on getting our car polished up (parts wise) for this upcoming season. We want our car to be a general all around fast car without emphasizing ONLY 1/4 mile runs or 1/2 mile runs. At its heart, it's still a weekend warrior street car (albeit high a HP hitter). A 1200 rwhp car does present its own set of street car issues but we can live with them, given that our car is properly setup for such use.
