Default Down on power

I have to data log this week but was just looking for insight. I have a 15 Z51 with an Edelbrock stage 2 E force, Borla X pipe GM CAI and made 541whp on a dynomite Dyno on 9 psi.

Since the above dyno pull I added the new 95mm LT5 throttle body. That alone brought me up to 10 psi. of boost. I was then getting a few degrees of KR so I had the car retuned for 102 octane (Boostane) by Chuck Cow. The car felt great but now felt somewhat sluggish. I made a few dynojet pulls yesterday and I’m way down on power. The car runs smooth at idle and drives great but now I’m make a ton less power 469whp. Any ideas?

Yes I can monitor boost with the kpa conversation in a data log. I’m going to log it this week.

Have you verified that the gas you're getting is really 102 octane. I've seen places sell 109 that was actually 91. Found out because of the tunner couldn't throw any more timing at it. Shouldn't be the problem you're seeing, but may be part of it.

was the throttle body blade adjusted, I read some where it needs to be adjusted with hp tuners to fully open. plus you KR isn helping
what are the iat temps

Different dyno and weather also dynomite reads alittle higher than others out there.

I’m mixing 9 gallons of 93 octane with 16 ounces of Boostane Professional = 102. So I’m good on octane

Last log showed TB full open and I haven’t been getting any KR. My IATs have been low.
Dynomite definitely reads lower then dynojet, hell all dynos read lower then dynojets

i going to see if a melted my cats and do datalog this weekend.

So I did a log, of course the first log when it felt slowest didn’t read boost. Next log showed 10 psi but my AFR was around 11.7 but it has been 12.4 with this tune so that was strange.

Well it looks like it’s two different dynos at two different times of year? So there’s that....

However this sounds tune related to me.

So the tune had been spot on making great power. Just did a datalog and I’m making the correct 10 psi of boost. I couldn’t even get the car over 100 mph, cars getting slower, no mis, no smoke car runs smooth. Cat temp sensors are both pegged at 1832F*++++. I believe that cats are melted I’ll be hollowing them out this weekend.

Cats and boost don't mix very well over time. Eventually the richer conditions required by boost will chew them up. We've seen it over and over.

Might be a good time to just look into a set of long tubes. They will lower your boost levels and allow you to run a smaller blower pulley for some more power. Hit us up and we'll get you a solid deal.
