Default Catch Can recommendations

Thought I would come to the Guru's... I have a 2014, Z51 that I installed a Edlebrock, E-Force (stage 1) supercharger on. What brand would your recommendation be, on a quality catch can that's plug and play. Even with the SC? Thanks

A cyclonic separator (like the Mann & Hummel ProVent) will significantly outperform any traditional catch can. You can order them online from many sources, but you need to put together your own mounting and hoses.

I run them on every forced induction build I do now. I typically plumb their oil drain into the turbo/supercharger drain line (along with a check valve) so that any oil collected automatically returns to the pan where it belongs. The cyclonic separator (along with the internal coalescing filter) does a great job of making sure no liquid oil makes it to the lines going back to the intake or compressor inlets. I usually run a split return with check valves on each leg so that either the factory PCV fitting on the intake or the compressor inlet can draw vapors under vacuum or boost respectively, without allowing a air leak around the MAF.
