Ok i purchased a 2017 C7 A8 that had the following mods: A&A V3 Ti trim with 4" pulley,Texas Speed stage 3 cam,Alky Control meth kit..2 nozzles,Texas Speed 1 7/8 long tube headers,X pipe no cats, heads ported and polished by shop in Texas with head studs with a very conservative tune...17 degrees of timing up top...so with that said ..my questions are...has anyone with similar set up removed one meth nozzle from the dual kit and gotten good results? Also does everyone run straight meth or some mixture?

Yea you don't need dual nozzles with that setup. Especially if it has LT4 injectors and HPFP. If you just had one 15 gph nozzle on straight meth it would be fine. I never ran a mixture, always 100% meth. It wasn't until I went to a e85 mixture and about 15 psi of boost did we add another meth nozzle.
Yeah thats what i was thinking..still learning about the car..it seems to really want to spin up really quick when it comes in so i am going to eliminate one to see how that effects it...thanks for your response

meth isn’t effecting how fast the car / motor spins up. That’s just boost
you also can’t just remove a meth nozzle without having the tune looked at / adjusted for proper A/F and injector timing
Stop!!! If you remove a nozzle your playing with fire. Your car was tuned with 2 nozzles in your tune. The tuner probably started with one(like in my case) and the car wanted more for possibly multiple reasons. Meth is cheap insurance, keep em both unless you want to get it retuned and have some power decreases. Gary
Are you still on stock pistons? Why are you looking to remove a meth nozzle? What size nozzles are installed currently? We run straight M1 meth in our builds. Where are you located? I would suggest having the car dynoed and checked over by a shop that knows Blower c7's first before changing anything.
I am in NC and i believe it is on stock pistons...purchased the car from a small used car dealership who bought it from auction online...i spoke to the shop that did the meth and A&A install and he told me that the guy who owned the car wanted it real safe so they installed the meth as a way to keep iats in check and by the tune it only is running 12 degrees of timing up top...i know the tune needs some work in the torque tables because when you really stand on it ..it wants to jump up and down in rpm as if the throttle is opening and closing quickly and i am learning how to read and understand tuning on a direct injection car...i think the trans could use a tune also.
If the question is does the car need dual nozzle meth for fueling at your power level than the answer is no. One M10 or M15 would be fine. As others have said because the car was tuned with a dual nozzle setup than if will need to stay that way unless you have it retuned. Heck it could have two small M5 jets which would be the same as a single M10. I have heard of people running two small size jets as a layer of safety in case one nozzle gets clogged for some reason.
Where do you live in NC? If you need a tuner I have a couple of suggestions.
