I have a great tune for my built and boosted Stingray, it is however a little too 'polite' for my liking. For a car pushing over 1k whp, it doesn't scare people on the sidewalk enough!
Are there any tuners out there that can add some pops, bangs and possibly even flames to my tune without compromising the core tune?

Yes there are tuners out there that can add some pops and bangs (on decel). Not sure about the flames though. I had my tuner provide me with some serious decel pops and bangs. Has zero effect on the "core tune". My car will scare little children and old ladies quite easily! LOL!

Does your tuner do remote tunes? I'd be interested to get their name if so.
I guess flames is probably going to be the hard with a full length exhaust system.
Is this something that could be done on a mostly stock stingray?? I have a potted throttle body, CAI, throttle controller, off-road pipe and straight through AWE track exhaust.
what are the possible negative effects on the engine from the tuned pops and bangs? Not so much looking for the flames as I like the shape of the back of my car as it is!

Yes, can be done on any C7 regardless of mods.
I would not recommend it on a car that still has the factory main cats, as they could possibly be damaged. Other than that, I dont think there is any negative effects to the engine. Proceed at your own risk.

Have your tuner set the closed throttle timing in the rpm range you want the pops and crackles low or negative. I've experimented down to -10 deg. I like the sound best with the timing at +10 deg in the bottom 3 rows of the cyl airmass axis from 2k-6k rpm. This is with catless down pipes, stock x-pipe, and Borla S-type catback on a 2300 C7Z.
Edit: I think I also turned off clutch fuel cutoff and decel fuel cutoff.
