Is there a Casting / Stamp, or other form of indentification on an LT4 supercharger that provides a build date ? Really would appreciate an Education on this topic.
Reason for asking. I was sold what was described as a Crate LT4. The more I look and dis-assemble. The more I'm questioning this fact. RTV used to seal the Snout to Supercharger. Rust on the primary pulley and paint loss. Bolts showing signs of removal, a chip out of the valve cover. Fine nicks and dents around the Intake ports. You get the picture.
