On my 2016 Z06 im running into what seems like spark blow out. I ran into this last year after headers and it fixed it then by gapping my plugs from .040 down to .030 (NGK 1 step colder). But, with these changes I'm seeing the same traits. Here are my mods an I would like to know what you reccomend for plugs and gap?
BTR stage 3 cam
Whipple 2.9 @ 14.5 PSI
103mm TB
5" cold air intake
2" ARH long tubes
Alky meth - 2 nozzle (M10&M15) set to just below 4
Are you running a PD or centri blower? Im curious if the two different blower types make a difference. My shop did a pro charger setup at 22 psi and somehow it worked with NGK's for him.
Running Magnuson 2300. At 15 psi one NGK plug (#7 cylinder) broke & caused misfire after running it for only 1K mile. Switched to Brisk RR12S & never had a problem for over 8K miles.
you guys you have convinced me to switch out to brisk for a safer setup. My remaining question is should I stick with 1 step colder or 2 steps colder. Im in Ohio & I do tend to drive in cooler weather (40/50 degree weather). Any concerns there running E85 & meth?

My personal recommendation is to go with Brisk RR12S (2 steps colder). If you find that those plugs foul easily due to driving style, weather temp or fuel type then you can switch to Brisk RR14S (1 step colder)
I have my ngks gapped at 25 no issues running 14psi
what plug wires are you running? That could be a issue
running 0 ohm granatelli wires & all are connected firmly. I’m going to try tapping mine down 5 thousands to see if that helps to bring me to .025 but ordered a set of bricks also
I heard a ton of good things about Brisk silver's so I went 1 step colder (1000 wheel F1A-94 + Holley port build) and MSD wires. I ended up losing the insulator on one brisk plug and lost the tip on another. I wasn't happy about that switched back to 1 step colder NGK iridium and never had a single problem. Not saying Brisk are bad plugs just giving my experience. I am not running meth due to the Holley Port. But in my new TS 416ci stroker build I should have done within a week I am going to stick back with my same NGK 1 step colder and see how well they do. Running a VR stage 3 cam, 416ci, F1A-94, Holley Port, and every supporting mod possible. I may need to go two steps colder we will see. I am at 21psi of boost.
I pulled my heads off last week on my stocker and could see some light scoring on the cylinder walls where the spark plug tips came off. I still pulled 180+ psi compression so it wasn't awful, but wasn't happy either.
I ended up going with brisk silver (one step colder) and gapped them to .026. The whipple manual calls for gap to be .028 & I figured that didn't account for the boost level have. It did fix my blow out issue with no idle problems / misfires.
