Default Oil everywhere!!

Just doing a datalog and car felt strong but I noticed a lot of smoke trailing the car. I got it home and oil is everywhere, looks like it’s going from the front of the engine. I’m thinking it pushed out the front crank seal? The car has an E force, TSP 1 7/8” long tubes, 95mm TB. Max of 16.5* of timing, Alky Meth kit single M15 WoT AFR 11.9-12.4. No knock on logs. It’s making 9.8-10.2 psi of boost. I have the Elite E2 catch can. I have to clean up the oil to verify it’s the front seal but I think I read guys switching to LS2 seal?? Should I switch out the Elite can for Mighty Mouse??

1) do you guys recommend LS2 or LS3 front seal ?

2) would you guys recommend the Might Mouse Mild or Wild for my setup?

Thanks

Thanks
I also suggest doing a leak down test. Pushing the front seal could be a sign for piston rings issue

^^^ I agree on the leak down test I would do the ls2 front seal. But hate to tell you this but that catch can is really no good at all but more than not it is your front seal. I have went thur a few of cans in the c5 & c7 & ended up with the MMS can David is great guy in here. Plus with that TT car of his at his boost level his can does work. Robert

Rob you’re saying the Elite can is no good for my boosted application but the Mighty Mouse Wild is the way to go, correct? I’ll defiantly do a leak down test. I’m also wondering why some ppl recommend the LS2 seal while others recommend the LS3 seal?

I put a ls3 seal on during installation of mine per a recommendation. The factory seal is really flimsy and I discovered the factory seal was already leaking before I installed the eforce. I can’t imagine it will last long under boosted application.

It's the front seal. Put an ls3 one in and address your pcv issue.

The ls2 and ls3 seals are the same.

Let me know how it fits. I may decide to swap over as well, just curious on fit since the eforce reservoir is right where the can looks to mount

I agree it looks like it will be tight mounting the MMS catch can with the E force reservoir, I sent Mighty Mouse a bunch of under hood pictures as per his request, I’m pretty sure he will have a solution.

thanks for the community help here!
our 'mild' systems are built to run within the stock pcv system. they have our exclusive built in pressure vent, but this is ultimately limited by the stock pcv system / size
our 'wild' system is a new stand alone pcv system, which can handle unrestricted and larger vent lines for huge increases in airflow control

Yes on the mms can Back a few years ago I put a Elite can on my c5 & had a problem with it working like the guy in Fla that made the can was telling every one. After proving him wrong he said he would take care of it & give my money back if I didnt post are tell everyone. Well didnt get my money back from him & that can ended up in the trash some place.
I have not seen are really heard of the ls2 are the ls3 seal going out on the c7 yet. I had to pay for my MMS catch can just like every one else in here. But it does work like David has said & shown in here on his page. Again I know anyone can say are show you all type of **** for about anything but if you use the can set up from him for your car & it is hooked up correct it will do the job as he says. Some of these really big cans you mount on the drivers side had one r two if them sold them they will do part of the job as they say. But fails short on doing a good job in high boost levels.

Thanks Robert, I ordered a Mighty Mouse Wild C7 catch can. Thanks for the insight and I’m sure it will be the right can to fix my issue!

I have the same can on my car, so I know it will work, I should be around 18 lbs of boost but I may try to lower that by putting on a set of 2 inch headers from the 1 7/8 inch set up. Robert
