Default E Force boost

15 Stingray stock engine with stage two E force 3 1/4” pulley, 95mm TB, TSP 1 7/8” long tubes, GM performance CAI, MMS wild catch can, Alky single nozzle 15gh. Cars recently only 510whp on a dynojet, bypass was hung open like 1/4” and was making 5-8 psi that’s now fixed and averaging 10 psi. It’s made 541whp on a dynamite dyno before 95mm TB, meth and headers. I have a 3” pulley sitting on my work bench and have been considering putting it on. Should be good for another 1.5 psi. Would this be okay with me running meth or a bad idea?,

I’m thinking as long as the meth keeps me from getting any KR I should be okay at 12 psi?

You might want to email your tuner to get their opinion. He would need to look at fuel quality timing, ect. to see if the car will stay happy.

I gave it a shot with the new pulley today. Car was faster then ever but it was getting a consistent 5* of KR so already switched back to the 3 1/4” pulley with no knock. I did try to up the meth controller when using the 3” pulley but didn’t help. I’ll play it safe and stay at my 10 psi.

I had two issues with boost. The first issue I had was I crushed the vacuum line to the bypass valve under the blower. That was keeping the bypass from getting vacuum at idle and cruise and was keeping the bypass closed. The second issue I had was the bypass assembly was bent down from me laying across the engine when I had done previous work. That kept the Bypass from actuating smoothly and wouldn’t allow the bypass door in the blower to fully close, creating a boost leak.
