Default Fuel System Differences 2014 VS 2015+

I have been digging through the forum and find small bits of info that the 2014 fuel system is slightly different from 2015+ and that this requires different tuning. Does anyone know specifically what is different and what needs to be done with the tune?

I have a 14 M7 with a Procharger, TSP longtubes, no cats. My car drives fine until WOT then the high pressure pump crashes. I've replaced the high pressure pump with 2 brand new ones thinking maybe I received a defective pump, I also replaced the low pressure pump in the tank its going super strong, and I replaced the feedline to the HPFP with the LT4 one without a check valve.

I think I was following another post you had going about fuel issues? Has any body that does the SC as a speciality look at it for you? You seem to like to be hands on witch is great but maybe a new set of eyes on it may get you there? If this wasn't you I'm sorry and good luclk with it.

Not yet, I have I think three posts regarding fuel. I do like to be hands on and learning. At this point I don’t really know what else to do. I have a fuel pressure tester coming in tomorrow to make sure their aren’t any blockages in the lines from the LPFP to the HPFP. I want to make sure that 70 PSI is getting to the high pressure pump. My tuner has another tune to try as well just to rule out the tune. If we don’t get any smoking guns from that info I’ll probably be taking it somewhere. I’m pretty mechanically inclined. I basically built my first car. I bought it for $800 bucks when I was 13 rebuilt the engine with some assistance from my old man. I love turning wrenches and I’m pretty good at troubleshooting as I’ve got about 10 years of help desk experience in IT and I’m now a sys admin. Unfortunately I’m not an LT1 expert LOL.

Well you get a A+ for effort that's for sure. I'm having my A&A SC and ARH headers put in next month with a Tune and hope it goes well. I'm not that mechanically inclined to do all that work but will be watching my friend who builds engines and is a Hot Rod junkie do the work.Once installed its going to another friend of his Dyno to be Tuned, I'm excited to see car on the Dyno.

wish you luck! I think my issue is some kind of fluke. Hey maybe I’ll end up doing heads and cam with an lt4 fuel system because of it. Regardless I just want to put it to the wood and enjoy the pull!
