My car is pro charged and was recently dyno tuned. My tuner got all he could out of it on the lt1 fuel system. He told me an LT4 fuel system would produce more. Can anyone here provide a parts list of whats needed to upgrade the lt1 to lt4 fuel system?
thanks.
You will need 8 injectors, a high pressure fuel pump and one or two fuel pipes for pump. You may also need a lash cap depending on camshaft used. I bought some of these parts from Rock Auto and the rest from an on line GM dealer. After installation you will need a new tune. Fyreant has some good build threads outlining these parts and more.
Ok, nice thanks. Safe to say if leaving stock cam, lash cap not needed? I'm considering just the fuel system upgrade and re-tune. Tuner really likes meth, but depending on cost, I like the fue system option as trying to explain meth to a buyer would be trouble in the event I decided to sell it.

Doing the same, I see 2 return pipes, an assembly line and feed line. Do you have the correct part #'s?
you may also need the electric pump module in the tank, it will have higher flow rating.
Only if going north of 600-650 RWHP. Even then an auxiliary pump like the DSX is a lot easier than another in tank pump. I believe the transaxle must be dropped to get to the tank pump.
