I’m just shy of 650whp for a couple years. Same mods P1 Procharger 3.7 pulley, dual nozzle Alky meth, headers, x pipe and the stall converter. I think I have 42,000 miles on the car now. Best ET and mph 10.3 @ 136 on warn out drag radials. I’m waiting for fall or winter here in S Florida to run it for all she wrote 😃
Side note: I drive my car pretty hard. Admit to street racing ... enough videos to take up your entire weekend.
Admittedly, I do get scared that a lifter might fail or piston. Crap ... or the meth pump dies during a pull.
But, I do take chances like most won’t. One of my C5’S with LS1 I sprayed 275 shot with sbe for years.

Great info sugey! I’m same mod list with Tb and msd intake(no biggee). What my plans are is I have lt4 fuel system with a lowside on standby and I’d love to be able to run my E85 again. Big well known shops are going full e85 (ecs) so it definitely can be done. This would get my 625 # closer to 700rwhp and can take advantage of the extra cooling effects on cylinders?? Ring gaps I realize are tight but am I really chancing it more with the good fuel system and e85?

I ran SBE on my 14 at a tad over 700 wheel for a while. I think it was like 10-11 psi, cam, and meth. It's all in the tune.

Everything has an expiration date for sure, but if it is tuned right it will last longer. Or if you mix in a little race gas it'll help.

Our development C7 that is a 2014 made 841 rwhp stock bottom end for 13k miles (did this when they first came out) and got 1/2 mile raced a lot and also lots of street hits. While all won't live there we take SBE lt1's to 700 rwhp a lot without fail. It all comes down to a few things.

1) tuner
2) tuner
3) dyno that doesn't lie and says you make 700 rwhp when you actually make 630 (that'll keep it alive if it makes less then you think)
4) tuner
5) owner of car not being a ding dong helps too.

I’ve heard this exact statement many times from the top lt1 guys in the country!! And cordes performance (Joe) is one of the best. I’ve talked to him and got a fair quote but I’m in Ohio and dammit he’s just too far!!!

Shipping is easy... Just call Joe and work a deal on the next car coming from your area. Do a two for 1 kind of deal.

It's a small price to pay for a setup that you want done right.

I probably only put like 4000 miles on it at that power level. I bought the car brand new in 14 and sold it in 19 with 14,000 miles so I didn’t drive it a bunch. I eventually did do a built 377 from LME cause I wanted to turn up the boost. Then it just spiraled out of control.

Yea it was a blast on the street, but like any power level you get bored with it. You beat a few people then you get beat and it’s time for more power!

Gary is going full send; good luck, man can't wait to see the progress. I agree with Cordes, which my word doesn't hold any weight compared to that name, lol.

One thing I have heard over and over since I have owned the Vette tuning is Key. That's one reason I remote-tune my car with Pat G. We don't have many knowledgeable LS/LT tuners in Hawaii.

Mike from Vengeance has come out a few times to tune some cars here on the rock.
