2016 z51. Cammed. Msd intake. Headers. Cai. Tuned. I know that everyone will say why? But I installed a dry shot. 75 horsepower. Just to get it out of the hole a little quicker. Used a winmax for controlling it. Got it set at 5100 to come on, shutting down at 6100. Sure it’s stock plugs. But they look good. But when it comes on. It just cuts out. It has way more power off the bottle than on. Been using these dry kits for 20 years. On LS based stuff. Guess the LT doesn’t like it? It’s only 75 so I don’t think it’s the fueling. Car would be lucky to make 485ish on motor? Any help from the Pros or knowledgeable gents is much appreciated. Thanks
Idk, there was several stock cars with dry shots. I just figured maybe I was to close to the mass air, or plug gap may be wrong and it’s blowing out the spark causing the issue. I’m going to change the plugs to some 6510ngk and gap .25-.30 and see if it helps.
The MAF is not capable of reading that accurately. O2 sensors are off during WOT, so it wouldn’t detect the mixture difference. I am adding a 200hp direct port setup over the winter to carry me into the 1400rwhp range and I have brainstormed with my tuner many times on triggering another fueling table. I’m planning on just doing 8 wet nozzles.
Its possible but you gotta find a way to trigger extra fueling somehow. You can make an extra tune and put extra fueling during the window of nitrous operation at WOT portion of the map. Like 4500-6500 only. Without spray you’ll be very rich tho. I’ve heard of people adding a circuit that skews the return voltage of the MAF to command more fuel. Both are not viable IMO for my car.
Adding a wet kit to an LT1 seems much easier. NX makes a throttle body space for it.

Maybe I’ll just buy a wet kit. I feel like at this point all I need is a fuel solenoid. And the spacer plate. And something to T off the fuel line. Is the stock fuel system good enough to handle a 100 shot? With my current mods.
