Hey all, I’m getting ready for some winter mods, and wanted to run a few things past everyone. I currently have a ‘19 Grand Sport with a P1SC Procharger kit on it. Questions, in no particular order:
Do I then just bolt on my existing procharger pulley (cam lock to the stock damper currently) onto the face of this one?
Dumb question, but does it come with a new crank bolt?
I’d like to upgrade to a green belt for my procharger, but finding it difficult to determine which is the proper belt. I’m on a stock upper and lower pulley that came with the P1SC kit if that helps.
While I have it apart, should I bother with proactively installing an ls3 front seal? I currently have no leaks or anything, but wondering if it makes sense since its all apart.
Unrelated, but maybe something I can address while I have it torn apart - The car drives wonderfully, but I’ve noticed that sometimes my revs will hang and not drop back to idle right away. It’s most noticeable at low-throttle, parking lot scenarios. If I rev up the car a bit to get going, then push the clutch back in, the revs will hang around 1.5-2k for a few seconds (feels long) before dropping down. Anything should look for in regards to that? It doesn’t seem to do it every single time, but enough that it’s annoying.

In response to #3, as long as you have removed the check check ***** from the breather elbow fittings on the front of the valve covers you should not have an issue with the front seal. The check valves were the cause of blowing seals. But if your doing a new balancer it’s a good idea to change the seal since the original seal would be worn in to the old balancer, as part of good maintenance practice.
what is giving you the idea that you need to do a new balancer and green belt?

Thanks for the info, this is helpful. I'm running a mighty mouse catch can, so I think I should be good from a breather / check valve perspective. You know, I'm not sure I do need a balancer at all. I've been chasing down a strange noise all this past year and figured I'd just dig into the whole accessory drive this winter, and might as well upgrade while I'm in there. I'm second guessing this now. For reference, the noise I'm after is a strange rhythmic harmonic noise ( think finger on the rim of a wine glass, or almost like air passing through a reed valve ). It only happens when the car is up to temp, around idle. It goes away at higher RPM, and is not present when the car is cold. When the car is shut down it also makes the whine noise for a second or two after the engine has stopped. I notice no other symptoms, but it drives me insane. It also does it regardless if the supercharger belt is on or not, so I've already ruled out that piece of the puzzle.
I wish I knew more to help I’ve got no experience with the Mighty Mouse set up. I’m on the fence about getting one. Can you still hear it if you disconnect and cap off the manifold port for the PCV/ catch can system? To be clear, don’t cap off the crank case ports when you do this, just the port on the manifold so you don’t get a giant vac leak. If it goes away you’ll need to dig in to the catch can setup.

That's a good idea that I hadn't thought of. Now that you mention it, I think that the noise began after I put on this new catch can! It may be a bit before I can test, but will let you know. Thanks for being a sounding board.
