I was with a friend in Mexico and after a hard pull to around 156 mph I heard what sounded like a backfire out of the exhaust with a slight loss in power. I slowed down and noticed the check engine light was now on. Not blinking but just one. I won’t be able to take it into the shop for a few days to get checked out, anyone have a similar experience? I have a 2017 Z06 with Corsa Xtreme cat back, x pipe, ported TB and CAI, tuned after all installed. This was the first time I’ve pushed the car this far and this happened. Any thoughts on what happened before I get it into the shop for a check would be appreciated. TIA

Is it running?? Any oil leaking, any ticking tapping or banging in the engine. Good oil pressure.
Could be a number of things… but if first time getting on it after tune not a good sign
I agree dont sound good at all if me I would call the tuner & talk to him also. But again it may be a valve spring that has gone be easy if it was me, Robert
I had the same thing happen in July, check engine light came on and it ran fine, I parked it for a few hours and went to move it back in the garage later that night and it was running rough, like it was on 4 cylinders. Pulled these codes and cleared them and it never came back yet. 2018 ZO6
