Default Performance Heads with Procharger

Looking to see if anyone is running a after market heads on their procharger set up. This is a LT1 pistons and rods motor with a D1X after this winter. Just looking for a thicker deck and smoother flow from a set of heads. Car is a drag and drive set up. So lets hear what your running.

Stock heads here with a built LT1 motor running a D-1X. Additional flow on your heads is not as important on a blown motor as it is a naturally aspirated one (just crank up the boost if you want more power). I would spend the money elsewhere.

I know i can make plenty of power with the boost cranked up. Looking to make more power with less boost. Basically trying to keep boost down and power up so everything survives longer.

Man I wouldn't waste your money. The LT1 heads flow very well especially when forced induction behind them. Unless you're just looking to get every single HP out of it on the dyno.

When I went from a stock shortblock with Novi1500 @ 8psi to a built motor and to 16 psi I did a set of LME ported LT1 heads, but this was 7 years ago when that was really the only aftermarket option.

Stock bottom end LT1, LT4 HPFP and injection, E85, headers and X pipe, D1X, BTR blower cam, stock head castings. It's my daily, runs great and I just clocked 130k. 730 on the dyno.

Damn how many of those 130K were boosted? Who tuned it? This is super impressive.

I put the original P1 on at 65k. Mike @Red Barn Racing tuned it. Cam, E85, D1X and retune at 108k. I commute 152 miles daily, and just came off a 1200 mile trip. Runs great.

Do you have a lowside pump?

I may do a blower later for my built setup and want to keep e85.

My tuner said a dsx low side, lt4 pump amd injectors would be all I need to keep E85 since I habe a 32% fuel lobe cam.

I plan to stay 650ish on E with the stock pistons/rods.
