LMR is the new Hennessy huh.. that price is ridiculous, go else where. It doesn't cost $50K to get these cars to make 800-900 WHP.
For that kind of money they better have port injection and a fully built 416. That's easily $20K over .. SMH

so Steven let’s his guy email a quote that’s not correct? I’ve contacted a couple other shops and LMR is 20k higher. Something wrong here.

If you have to request speaking to the owner who undoubtedly has decision in package pricing, to maybe shave a few thousand off absurd prices I'd go the other direction off of principle. Worst case something goes wrong and now you're stuck dealing with a price gouging entity. Vengeance is a great shop and plenty others in TX if you're down there that will take care of you for tens thousands less.
LMR is not what it used to be. I had my first good tune there in 2019. After I did some upgrades to my build their guy that answered the phone said he just didn’t do tunes anymore. Only if I bought a package could I get an LMR tune. I think they’ve really just outgrown themselves. He makes plenty of money tuning those $50k packages and doing YouTube videos. No need for the small jobs.
You might want to give Alex Pietz a call. He did my LME engine build/install on my 16 Z06. He was very reasonable and tuned the trans as well as the engine. Pietz Performance Tunes in Texas.
I received a similar quote. I was drawn in by the videos. Then I saw the price. I may be new to corvettes, but that seemed excessive. I’m out on the East Coast so I’m on the hunt for a reliable shop that isn’t trying to rip off its customers.
