LTR= Late Model Racing who built the motor. It could be a LT4 or LT1. A LT4 is a model of engine found in the Z06.

So the rest of it is identical to the LT block? It seems to command a premium a couple grand more over a normal LT block so was assuming it was iron, better sleeved, or something. It seems to be the new hot block on the market.

This is not accurate. The block seems to be made by a company called Concept Performance. According to this article it's an aftermarket block with a bit more thickness in certain areas, better hardware, and other features that make it more suitable for making big power.

CorrectCoit is a aftermarket block that makes an aluminum block 2k HP capable. The price of the block alone is about $6900.
Well worth it for this build

Love those tillets.

On the VG issue - its always like this. BS people across dozens of platforms, whether german or american or japanese. They are better at marketing than they are production QA, or accounting, etc. We have to ask better questions (The royal WE) have we have to look for the better quality shops even if they don't have slick websites.

Ya there are plenty of shops near me, and a major one. But the attention to detail and work performed is top notch with Case House Performance in Toms river nj

Soon they will take over the area if they haven't already yet.
