Catted X-Pipe With Forced Induction

I've been looking the Kooks (2170H420) 1 7/8" long tube headers with catted x-pipe for 15' C7 Z06, however, their x-pipe web page says "STANDARD RACE CATS NOT FOR USE IN FORCED INDUCTION APPLICATIONS".

Anyone out there with knowledge on this?

Anything over 9-10 psi you shouldn't expect standard cats to last long. Either go with a high flow cat or just none at all

Thanks. I contacted Kooks and they recommended their Green cats for forced induction applications. This brings the price up to roughly 3K. I really want cats though.

Best money you can spend ..... i don't want to smell like a lawn mower when i drive my car

I bought my headers used from a member of this forum. The high flow cats were welded in the Xpipe , they look like LG's but others make them

Your gonna want cats unless your running E85.
I have no cats and I luv it however when I’m running 93 fumes are bad.
E85 however and all is fine even with the wife’s nose.👍
