LT4 Heads Different?
Looking at adding a supercharger to my Z51. Noticed the kits offered that use the LT4 supercharger come with adapter plates. I am wondering why: Are the heads different in dimensions from the LT1 heads?
We built a supercharged 13 Escalade using the LS9 supercharger and they required us buying adapter plates. Ended up we did not need them so begs the question about in this case.

The intake bolt spaceing are different. that the reason for the adapter plates but every thing else are the same. you can run the LT4 heads on a LT1 but will lose about1 point of compression.
