Performance shop just called and told me the dyno tune was a little over 1,000whp on E50. How mich more should I gain on full E85?

This right here. Once you hit the 50% ethanol levels the maximum gain is just about there. You will gain more with a higher E level but it hardly outweighs the effort to find it. Unless you are tracking......

Gotcha, the pump E85 closest to me is about E70 to be honest. I didn't want to search for a higher level if it wasn't really worth it. It seems like for fun sake, E70 should be fine.

Any particular reason you elected to go the F1X route for 1,000rwhp? There are a few more efficient blowers for that level that can out perform the F1X

Honestly, the shop said I should go with the F1X. I think the F1a-94 would have been a better option. I have the fueling for 1500 hp + but not really sure if they built the motor to handle that much boost. This is my first built car and I am trying to learn as I go. I do feel that the F1x comes on later in the RPM which means I don't have to feather it as much. Plus I don't have a built trans or diff right now. I may end up buying a F1a94 blower and switch it over to see the difference in the power and torque bands. This isn't a dedicated race car so I don't want to only be able to run slicks to even get on it.

didn't Cordes Performance explain to you not to do the F1x?

By the time I had that input the shop had already ordered and received the F1x kit. I just went ahead and let them finish the install. Maybe I should have stopped them and made them switch it out but I didn't. I will probably just end up buying a F1a-94 head unit and switching and getting it re-tuned to see the difference.

What was your impression of the different blowers? Did you like the F1a-94 better or the F1X?

I don't understand why change the x, it is a better blower. You easy have 200hp more left in that blower. Im running 28lbs. By 3k ish im at 6lbs tons of TQ way more then my tires could handle. I do not like losing so the hp is there when i need with confident i will win and i have.

I ve raced many 1000hp car and they had no chance. By the way first gear can only handle half throttle. The temp must be at least min 80* out with the streets heated during the day with sun.
