Am I an idiot or does the charge tube from the passenger side of the intercooler to the throttle body just not fit at all and smashes against everything? It’s against the sway bar, radiator hose, frame rail, wire harness, and a/c condenser lines. Am I just doing it wrong?
If the install instructions haven't been updated, they sure need to be. no mention of the remote trans cooler having to be relocated on the GS.
I ended up putting two rivnuts into the crossbeam right above where it was originally mounted and was able to mount it just fine. There's enough slack in the factory hoses to allow it to just move straight up 3-4". I did remove the hose bracket that mounts to the side because it had a very sharp corner that I could see rubbing a hole in the a/c hose. It's just held in with a single small bolt on the backside.
