THey squinted the rear tail lights a bit, pushed the exhaust pipes to the corners of the car, gave it a slight more rectangular appearance to it. Not crazy about the gills though! Notice the gumbies?? Those wheels grew on me!

I like it. The yellow rendering looked radical, probably a future rendering and I appreciate that they're not going to the Saturn Solstice platform as was tabled in a recent Motor Trend article. Also, we who have C6's now, won't really have compelling reasons to upgrade or to take on sacrificing financial positions for a few... largely cosmetic changes between C6 and C7. So, C8 anybody!?

And what is a C6 but a C5 with a big grin - fixed glasses - etc

no way they would do anything else but slight mods.

The red one looks more like a C6.5 to me. I actually like the yellow mid-engine one better. Except for the small side windows and big blind spots.

It looks like if made, it would be done in parallel, so does that mean it would be the new supercar ZR1 type of Vette, since I would expect the price range to be well over $100K?

I'm just wondering if, with the new gas mileage requirements they have passed, the Corvette will even be around by the time the C7 is launched.

Default new C7

I don't know about anyone else, but if the vette goes in that direction, it will start looking like the RX-8. Vettes should have nice lines to it.

Just Nasty, the C6's will sell more than ever and go up in value even more if they release that turd to the streets. The lines are awful and they took the point out of the front, car looks like Herbie. Horrible look.

C7 Vette =

it will look very different when it finally comes out... but, I actually LOVE the rear of that rendering, and I hope that the exhaust pipes do find their find their way to the corners again... the front is a bit blocky in my opinion, but I'm sure by the time GM builds a C7 it will be evaluated by numerous study groups so it will appeal to the masses - I doubt that GM will make an "ugly" Vette, they are very much aware of how important this car is to the Chevrolet brand and GM in general...

A really sad and boring design. Not the way a Corvette should look. I would even go as far as saying that this design has got nothing to do with Corvette. It is european car inspired.

I think the ZO3 is an exciting new design :
http://www.ugursahindesign.com/corvettez03.html
It should be a bit longer (the nose) and I don't like the headlights ... But some thought went into it compared to the yellow modded crap in the article.

I guess you don't argue about taste, but I don't understand how a true Corvette fan can remotely like this C7 design. To me, Corvettes are about nice long lines and a long hood, not some mid-engine Lambo wannabe ...

Default This One Looks a Little Better- Hint of 70's Models

This does improve upon the earlier one by 1000% but I'd probably change a few things, for one maybe make this car a bit longer, seems like they chopped a little off, making it longer would make this car much more desirable IMO:

Yes, I agree 100%, it should be a bit longer, making it a bit meaner. A longer nose.

However, I absolutely love the backside with the C3 style window ...

This design is way more Corvette inspired than all the new so called "C7" designs together IMHO ...
